In summary, the Portfolio Management Reporting Consultant plays a crucial role in helping clients evaluate their investments more effectively by providing insightful and accurate reports and dashboards.

This role demands a combination of financial expertise, technical proficiency, and excellent client management skills, making it both challenging and rewarding.

The Role

In this client-facing position, as part of the BI and Reporting Team, you will collaborate closely with a portfolio of private and Institutional clients in the investment management sector.

Effective communication is crucial, as the consultant must understand the data needs and requirements of each client and ensure that these needs are accurately reflected in the reports.

Training and Support

Providing training and support to end-users on how to effectively use Power BI tools and interpret reports is a vital part of the role.

This ensures that clients can independently utilise the tools to their fullest potential, enhancing their ability to make informed investment decisions.

Data Accuracy and Consistency

Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all reports and dashboards is essential.

The consultant must implement best practices in data management to maintain the integrity of the information presented.

Staying Current with Power BI Features

As technology evolves, staying up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices is crucial.

The consultant must continuously enhance their skills and knowledge to provide the most innovative and effective solutions to clients.

Reporting directly to the CIO, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in the following areas:

• Expertise in Power BI: Proficient in designing and developing reports and dashboards.

• Financial Acumen: Strong background in finance or investments, understanding of financial data and investment strategies.

• Client Management: Experience in a client-facing role, adept at managing and understanding client needs.

• Technical Skills: Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective visualizations.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for training and supporting end-users.

Essential

• Power BI

• Finance or Investment industry background

• English language – written and verbal professional level
  
  

Skills and Education

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Power B.I. Consultant

• An enthusiasm to support our people and our clients with innovative data solutions
